Governance and democracy

The New Politics stands for politics that is there for people, not for systems. Transparent governance means that decisions
are clear, understandable, and transparent to everyone. Residents must be able to see exactly how choices are made, where money
goes, and what considerations play a role in the process. But even more importantly: residents must also be given genuine input. Not
just an information evening afterwards where they can voice their opinions. That needs to be much better!

At De Nieuwe Politiek, we do not stand above, but alongside the people. We actively listen to residents, take their concerns seriously
, and involve them in policymaking. Not just right before elections. We are happy to join you in your living room,
at a meeting table, or simply over a coffee to hear your concerns. Through this involvement, we ensure that your voice is represented effectively,
people-oriented, and honestly in the municipal council.

Standing alongside residents also means daring to name and combat injustice. Whether it concerns discrimination, displacement in
neighborhoods, unequal opportunities, or inhumane regulations: we stand up for everyone who is unfairly affected and ensure that
their voice is heard in the Council.

In short, we strive for an open, accessible, and trustworthy city, where residents are not only informed but also
have actual influence on decisions that affect their lives.
