General Terms and Conditions

General

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all services, activities, memberships, donations, and other involvement with De Nieuwe Politiek. By becoming a member, donating, or participating in activities, you agree to these terms.

Membership

  • Membership is personal and non-transferable.
  • Membership commences upon receipt of the first payment and approval by the board.
  • The membership fee is collected annually, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Voting rights only take effect three months after the start of membership.

Donations

  • Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
  • Recurring donations are automatically debited annually, unless you indicate that you wish to stop this.
  • Donations above €999 must be made public
  • Donations above €10.000 per donor per year may be compulsorily reported to the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations.
  • A maximum of €100.000 may be donated per donor per year.
  • Donations from abroad are prohibited.

  • Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy statement of De Nieuwe Politiek.
  • Data is used for memberships, donations, newsletters, and communication about activities.
  • We do not share your data with third parties without your consent, unless legally required.

Privacy and data processing

  • Participation in meetings, events, and campaigns is at your own risk.
  • De Nieuwe Politiek reserves the right to refuse participation in case of rule violations or inappropriate behavior.

Liability

  • De Nieuwe Politiek is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data, or financial damage.
  • For direct damage, liability is limited to the amount reasonably related to the service or activity.

Changes

De Nieuwe Politiek reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions. Amended terms and conditions will be published on the website and will apply from the date of publication.

Applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall preferably be resolved by mutual agreement. If necessary, the competent court in the Netherlands may be called upon.
